In recent times e-learning is becoming an integral part of the educational process in universities and it's used in all forms of education. The aim of this research is to identify the attitude of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University students to academic dishonesty in e-learning process by conducting a survey. 214 participants from different institutes and directions of study took part in the questionnaire including bachelor's and master's degrees. Study results reveal that students do not note any serious forms of deception and they evaluate the motives for cheating quite neutral, but at the same time they demonstrate their propensity and interest in the possibility of cheating.
