This conference proceedings on advances in Cryogenic Engineering contains 150 papers. The papers cover the main topics of cryogenic engineering, mainly the cooling of the superconducting magnets by superfluid and supercritical helium. The different applications of the superconducting magnets and their reliability are described. The use of other cryogenic fluids, like liquid nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, neon etc are also discussed, and their properties described. The safe handling of the liquefied gases including the liquefied natural gas is another topic. A few papers are devoted to the cryosurgical instruments and their applications.
