Abstract

Based on the design principle that the software is the instrument, this paper proposes a combinative system for dynamic signal collecting and analyzing in the distributed vibration field, which possesses the complementary advantages of two communication modes RS485 and USB. The system can achieve swift dynamic signals collecting with muli-channels, large memory and offer an effective tool for faults diagnosis and on-line monitoring in the vibration fields. Then, the hardware and software design procedure of the system are discussed in detail and some engineering instances are given. © 2006 IEEE.
