Abstract

Methods, compns., and devices for synthesizing combinatorial libraries of various useful compds., such as benzodiazepines, prostaglandins, b-turn mimetics and glycerol-derived drugs is described. In order to expediently synthesize such combinatorial libraries of derivs. based upon these core structures, a general methodol. for the solid phase synthesis of these derivs. is also provided. This disclosure thus also describes an important extension of solid phase synthesis methods to nonpolymeric org. compds. [on SciFinder (R)]
