Four new 3D coordination polymers containing cadmium and 1,2,4-triazole (trz), [Cd3(trz)5(NO3)(H2O)](H2O)0.866 (1): space group C2/c, a = 19.6971(9) Å, b = 17.3615(8) Å, c = 13.8979(6) Å, β = 90.9010(10)°; [Cd2(trz)2(oxalato)] (2): space group Pnna, a = 10.1681(8) Å, b = 13.5490(11) Å, c = 8.4116(7) Å, [Cd6(trz)10(NO3)2(EtOH)(H2O)](H2O) (3): space group Cmc21, a = 10.2454(7) Å, b = 33.542(2) Å, c = 13.4739(9) Å; and [Cd4(trz)2(oxalato)3] (4): space group Cmca, a = 7.3616(8) Å, b = 13.2834(14) Å, c = 17.4096(19) Å, have been synthesized solvothermally and structurally characterized. Structures 2 and 4 are mixed-ligand frameworks in which the oxalate ligands were synthesized in situ. © 2007 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
