Abstract

Pelvic support osteotomy (PSO) is one of the oldest procedures that alter normal anatomy to create a proper gait, in modern orthopaedics. It is indicated for salvaging damaged hips of patients who are not suitable for arthroplasty. In this chapter, we review the history, indications, techniques and complications of PSO with sample cases.
