Figs. 96,97 164 the composition deviates from stoichiometry. The so-called "650°C anomaly" corresponds to the 550°C anomaly in the Fe-Co system and has been observed in the ordered Fe-V alloys during continuous heating of homogenized, quenched and annealed samples based on DTA and X-ray analysis by Seki et al. [14]. The effect of pressure on the stability of the (a + 1') phase (Fig.95) and the 0 phase transformation was studied by electron microbe am and X-ray analysis of binary diffusion couples diffused under simultaneous conditions of high pressures and temperature by Hanneman et al. [8]. The results show that the region of solubility of the ophase increases with pressure and the congruent transformation point of 0 is moved to higher temperatures, which was already predicted by the application of the Clapeyron equation.
