Abstract

Synthesis of biologically active molecules via multi-component reactions in one pot synthesis is one of the growing areas for organic chemists. Recently for clean and efficient procedures, microwaves have been used for this purpose. In present report, we synthesized various pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole substituents by aldol condensation mechanism of aromatic aldehyde, malononitrile, ethyl acetoacetate, and hydrate hydrazine in aqueous micellar solution of Al(DS)3. The products were obtained with high purity and in maximum yield upto 98%.
