Abstract

E. coli transmitted from under-cooked hamburger may cause life threatening conditiosn including hemorrhagic colitis, hemolytic uremic syndrome and thrombotic-thrombocytopaenic purpurea. Unfortunately, the emergence of resistance has become increased. Therefore, the antimicrobial susceptibility of the causative strain E.
