A solar concentrating trough device has been constructed for further application of solar heating and power system or solar refrigeration. A model for both evacuated tube and copper tube heated by solar trough concentrating system has been built in order to further analyze the characteristics of fluid which flow tubes. The heating property of the trough device to receiver with evacuated tube or copper tube respectively has been studied with the moving fluid at different temperature. The experimental results of this solar trough device showed that the temperature of moving fluid via receiver can be easily reached above 90° for solar refrigeration application. The solar concentrating system will speed the application of solar energy.
