Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: The primary objective of this review is to assess existing evidence for the effectiveness and safety of immunisation in pregnancy (in any trimester) in preventing pertussis infection in infants who are too young to be protected by the routine primary vaccinations compared to no vaccination, sham or placebo vaccination.
