Abstract

The proportion of software in the weapon system gradually increases and the embedded software in weapon system is becoming an important factor in determining the performance of the weapon system. The defect in the software of the weapon system are those that are not found at the development phase. To minimize the cost of software defect correction, systematic software quality control is required from the development phase. To increase the reliability of the software, reliability prediction and reliability estimation should be performed in the software development phase. This paper suggests the process of software reliability and the result of comparison on the software quality metrics of the project that applied the reliability prediction and estimation model are presented. It will contribute to improving the quality of software by minimizing potential defects in the software development phase.
