Laparoscopic Toupet fundoplication has been successful in large series of pediatric patients managed for gastroesophageal reflux disease. The technique can be performed as a three- or four- port technique. The indications, contraindications, preoperative considerations and technical notes for laparoscopic Toupet fundoplication have also been listed. Possible procedural variations have been outlined. The surgical procedure for three- and four- port laparoscopic Toupet fundoplication has been explained using sequential high quality images. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
