Abstract

Renewable Energy Engineering Bachelor trains students as interdisciplinary professionals with solid knowledge in basic, common subjects of industrial engineering and specific renewable energy technologies. This bachelor considered that students should have a solid knowledge on MATLAB powerful calculation tool, graphical representation and simulation. The subject Mathematical and Numerical Analysis is a subject of the first course that need to be dedicated 37.5 h to laboratory lessons using MATLAB. For this purpose we will apply a PBL method that will involve different mathematical skills and competences necessary to acquire in the Renewable Energy Engineering Bachelor. In addition, the resolution of the PBL problem will include the implementation of other subjects of the first course of the bachelor.
