Abstract

Satellite Images are important source of data through images captured from artificial satellites revolving around orbit of the Earth. These images are susceptible to noise, irregular illumination which effects the quality of image. An improved enhancement technique is proposed in this paper that will increase the visual perception in the image while preserving the details. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is tested by using Entropy and histogram Analysis.
