Abstract

This work is an elaboration of the initial studies presented at the International Conference on Sustainable Technologies, 2011. The BARM machine, originally in the form of a compressor, will be presented here as an internal combustion machine and compared with a classic reciprocating diesel engine. A simplified thermodynamic analysis will also be presented. Power densities of BARM engines should be significantly greater than that of reciprocating engines with the same thermodynamic efficiency.
