Abstract

Multi-Agent Based Simulations (MABS) for real-world problems may require a large number of agents. A possible solution is to distribute the simulation in multiple machines. Thus, we are forced to consider how Large Scale MABS can be deployed in order to have an efficient system. Even more, we need to consider how to cluster those agents in the different execution servers. In this paper we propose an approach based on a holonic model for the construction and update of clusters of agents. We also present two modules to facilitate the deployment and control of distributed simulations. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
