Abstract

E-LFT. The high load-bearing capacity of E-LFT parts which have already been realized and a material behavior which can be readily numerically simulated led to the idea of developing full-loadbearing body structures. Clever design and fiber arrangement allows even a commodity polymer such as glass fiber-reinforced PP to yield a passenger cell that meets all standard requirements.
