Abstract

For those areas with higher relative humidity in summer, the traditional air-conditioning system is difficult to meet the humidity requirements. A temperature and humidity independent control air-conditioning system based on rotary dehumidifier and heat pipe is proposed. The research on the working principle and thermodynamic calculation method of the system is carried out, and an office building in Shenzhen is taken as an example for thermodynamic calculation. Thermodynamic calculations were performed for Shenzhen, Beijing, Changsha, Wuhan Xi’an, and Guangzhou. The results indicate that the system can meet the requirements of indoor air supply better. Thermodynamic calculation indicates that the temperature and humidity independent control air-conditioning system based on rotary dehumidifier and heat pipe has the advantages of large dehumidification capacity and low energy consumption.
