Abstract

The article focuses on the development of the expertise of dental care professionals (DCPs) from being a novice. It states that DCPs are able to apply their understanding and knowledge by increasing the scope of practice along with the provision of a range of patient care that is essential and extends their general involvement with treatment of patients. It mentions that DCPs evolved further through professional reflection along with the evaluation and examination pf personal core capabilities.
