Abstract

The main goal of a strength program, and especially at high-performance level, is to provide the optimal conditions to allow the players to achieve, maintain, or enhance the proper performance of functional movements significant for basketball. This chapter provides a practical guide to design a strength program having the sport of basketball as a focal point, with an integrative methodology based on basketball movements and players’ needs.
