Abstract

Eight patients with jugular paragangliomas are presented, 5 of which had intracranial extension demonstrated on CT. This high incidence of intracranial spread is not significant in view of the small series studied. However, it does show the importance of CT in the assessment of skull base lesions for surgical and radiotherapy planning.
