Abstract

Today’s commercial level poaching of specifically targeted fauna incorporates careful planning and preparation, state of the art equipment and strategic collaboration between all those involved. The act of pulling a trigger is just the beginning to a long chain of law-breaking that can stretch from the savannahs of Africa to a traditional medicine practitioner or luxury apartment in the Orient.
