Abstract

Cloud computing becomes an increasingly popular computing paradigm which leads to an increasingly sophisticated and growing influence of the social business model for cloud computing. A robust and orderly operating mechanism is the foundation of the maturity and stability of cloud commerce market. Since the cloud commerce negotiation is a dynamic and adaptive process, an approach of self-organizing based on multi-agent systems is proposed to achieve the required macroscopic properties of locally interacting agents in cloud market. The novel establishes a three-layered self-organizing multi-agents mechanism to support cloud commerce parallel negotiation activities. Purpose of our work is simulating the mechanism to follow the trend of development in line with economic market rules between cloud consumer and cloud provider. The experimental results indicate that the multi-agents system is successful in handling the commerce negotiation and completing expected requirements. © 2014 IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.
