Abstract

Transmission line arresters play an important role in the safe operation of cable protection, and lightning now causes a large proportion of power accidents. To reduce line accidents caused by lightning strikes, at present, a large number of lightning arresters have been installed on the line, and maintenance person needs to carry out necessary regular maintenance of the line arresters. Because of the operation line of 66 kV and above voltage level, the tower is very high, the staff installs the line arrester, and it is very difficult for the maintenance staff to test the power failure of the line. This paper studies insulation parameter monitoring technology of transmission line arrester. This paper introduces the development of an effective measurement system for insulation parameters of lightning arrester, solar power supply system and remote communication module based on GPRS + Zigbee radio frequency technology. The measurement accuracy and stability of the system are verified by experiments.
