Abstract

The objective of this work is to discuss the eff ective gains journalism could have with the introduction of scientifi c research methods as tools for journalistic data verifi cation. For this, we will analyze some experiments that characterize specifi c modalities of this application, for the purpose of raising open questions about the conception of journalism, research in journalism, and the increasing of reporting techniques.
