Abstract

Takahiro Kawai has been interested in operators of infinite order and convolution equations from the beginning of his research career and he made significant contributions in these areas as well as in the theory of partial differential equations. He uses operators of infinite order most effectively in various fields and obtains a number of remarkable results. © 2008 Springer Japan.
