This chapter presents a summary of our recent global studies on subjective indicators of well-being and their relationship with other national indicators of quality of life and economic prosperity. These indicators include eudaimonic well-being, life satisfaction, positive affect, and negative affect. The emerging insights from the studies are integrated to facilitate a holistic understanding of the findings and their importance. The consistencies of the conclusions presented here with Professor Veenhoven’s findings are highlighted.
