Abstract

Performance monitoring of telecommunication networks requires parameters that effectively characterise the operational status of networks. This paper proposes a similarity measure based on error correcting graph matching to characterise the degree of change occurring within a dynamic network topology as it evolves over time. In addition, a technique to discern the distribution of this change throughout the network is also described.
