Abstract

Since the formulation of the national policy of western development, university graduates have been vigorously called on to work in the northwest region of China for passing knowledge and developing productivity. However, due to the gaps in regional economy, job opportunities and incomes, most of the students still go to metropolis such as Beijing and shanghai after graduation. In this paper, the AHP model is introduced to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of eastern developed cities, as well as less developed cities in Western China about the employment of university students from a statistical point of view, so as to put forward a reasonable choice of ideal cities for graduates’ employment and provides a theoretical support for improving the ability to attract talents for municipal governments.
