This chapter analyses the ways in which gender, sexuality and faith intersect to play a pivotal role in the becomings of Malaysian trans men. Used predominantly in this chapter to denote institutional religious affiliation, personal spiritual values and ethical principles, the category of faith is regularly overlooked despite being a crucial marker of identity for many Malaysians. Trans men demonstrate competing discourses in regard to the contribution of faith to their gender identities. Some create a bricolage of beliefs to serve as a space where the confluence of their gender identities and faith can yield productive outcomes. For many trans men, a self-defined practice of faith inspires them to treat themselves and others with benevolence and respect.
