Abstract

In this work we present a novel bio-inspired operator for image smoothing based on the attraction of gravitational forces. These forces produce movement over the pixels of an image, which are represented as particles in the space. Due to this movement pixels change their color intensity. We introduce the operator and apply it iteratively over color images, with different configurations. The effect of our technique is analyzed over 1D signals and color images.
