Abstract

Multiaxial Forging is one of the main deformation process which is used to refine the size of the grain material. In the present work AA 6063 alloy has been processed through MAF die with a different number of forging cycles. From the microstructural analysis of the forged samples,it is observed that the grain refinement was obtained with increasing number of forging cycles.. The mechanical property in terms of hardness and compressive stress was also investigated and reported.
