Abstract

On the basis of material collected from a pack-ice floe off the E Siberian shelf up to the Lomonosov Ridge, the underside of sea ice acts as a substrate for c50 species of cryopelagic fauna, an autochthonous component being present throughout the year, an allochthonous element varying with season. -P.J.Jarvis
