Salvage Therapy in Prostate Cancer: Predictors of Recurrence

Abstract

A systematic review relating to salvage therapy for prostate cancer was conducted. This was to identify the role of predictors of recurrence in salvage therapy. The search strategy aimed to identify all references related to Salvage HIFU and post-radiotherapy failure and prostate cancer. Search terms used were as follows: (Salvage therapy) and (prostate cancer) and (Recurrence Predictors). Thirty-six papers were identified and predictors of recurrence in salvage therapy for prostate cancer discussed.
