Abstract

Excess Gibbs free energies and excess volumes were measured at 298.15 K for the methyl formate + methanol and methyl formate + ethanol. Excess Gibbs free energies calculated from vapor-liquid equilibrium data for both systems differ only slightly, while excess volumes for these systems differ in sign. © 1972.
