Abstract

Many methods are available for the detection and isolation of diarrheagenic Escherichia coli pathotypes (DEPs). A versatile protocol is one that will enable detection from any source material ranging from fecal samples, swabs, and foods or food products that have been processed in a stomacher. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
