Archaeological ceramics represent material evidence of culture that allows archaeologists to trace them through time in order to understand the forms of life in the past. They can also be thought of as pedagogical tools that enhance the didactic transposition of content in the educational space. In this work, we share experiences developed in Quebrada de Humahuaca, which portray the use of archaeological ceramics as devices of social memory. Furthermore, the results from this research allow their inclusion into educational practices in order to reveal meanings and appropriations of both local and regional archaeological heritage.
