Intercultural Communication Processes in the Conditions of Digitalization of Higher Education of Russia

Abstract

Purpose: The main content of this article is the consideration of modern approaches to the preparation and conduct of the educational process in the field of digital innovative technologies, which are aimed at increasing the general communicative culture, efficiency, professional competence, and activity of students of modern Russia. Methodology: In the process of work, the author of the article applied research methods such as empirical (observation, surveys, etc.); theoretical (study of various literature on the studied topic and its analysis); experiments on the study of pedagogical experience, analysis, and evaluation of its results. Results: The process of digitalization of education and sectors of intense living abilities reveals in a person the formation of a communicative culture, which allows competently taking advantage of the opening opportunities for organic entry into a certain environment of the information society. The novelty of digitalization lies in the mechanism for overcoming the situation of digital inequality in Russia in the formation of digital competencies among users of the network and in actualization in the social stratification of people (digital: gap, citizenship, socialization). The scientific novelty of the study is considered in light of the socio-cultural prerequisites of the phenomenon of the “digital gap.” The problem of modern intercultural communication (ICC = intercultural communication) is the exchange of information in the existing digital Internet computer society. Value: The system of existing education should first of all guarantee society an unmistakable transition to the modern digital era. The informational support of higher education has formed a new base for the transition to the next level of digitalization of the training of qualified specialists who own all types of mobile and Internet technologies after receiving e-learning.
