Abstract

The aim of this piece of work is to demonstrate how it is possible to improve the neck area by using bidirectional polylactic acid threads with opposing cones to achieve a noninvasive lifting effect. The authors of this chapter would like to illustrate how the use of bidirectional threads either with or without the use of Botulinum Toxin can lead to highly satisfactory results which are otherwise unachievable without resorting to more invasive surgical techniques. The authors would like to demonstrate, however, that the initial use of botulin toxin followed by treatment with bidirectional threads can also be proposed to patients that have commonly been considered as unsuitable for this kind of treatment. The authors of this work utilize ABO-BoNT 125 Speywood units.
