Abstract

The combustion characteristics of Qilianta-coal and rice straw are analyzed mixed in different proportions, With Pyris 1 TGA thermogravimetric analyzer (PE/USA). The results show that the ignition temperature and time decreases after adding the biomass to the coal; When the sample mixed in the same proportions, with heating rate increasing, the ignition time goes down but the ignition temperature raises. Moreover, the chemical reaction kinetic parameters of mixed fule combustion are achieved by A-B-S model, under the same temperature ratio, the activation energy decreases with the increase of the mixed ratio of the biomass, which shows that the mixed sample burns easily.
