Abstract

In an e-learning environment, security plays an important role while transmitting information in form of image or text through an open access network like Internet. In a lowbandwidth channel, it becomes difficult to download large image files and also the checking for authentication becomes cumbersome. In our proposed methodology, the sender can successfully send large image files to the receiver through a lowbandwidth channel and also we have emphasized on the authentication of the image for originality.
