This paper presents research into liquid metal behavior under pressure. It analyzes how pressure could affect the mechanism and kinetics of alloy crystallization. The paper introduces the concept of liquid metal compressibility under pressure before and during crystallization. It is discovered that the relative reduction in the volume of liquid metal may reach 13% at 500 MPa. The paper proposes a solution to control acceleration of the hydraulic drive for die-casting, a process that induces crystallization under pressure.
