Abstract

This paper examines effect and development possibility of 3411 deregulation district designated by city planning law. Analysis result of population change by using 500 metres mesh data and questionnaire result to farmland owner in depopulation cities show as follows; 1) Deregulation district that is designated near urbanization promotion area have some development possibilities. 2) The development possibility increases by enhancing provision of information to farmland owners. and 3) To keep or activate villages located far from urbanization promotion area, the deregulation district should be designated to core villages in a limited way.
