Abstract

In SQL-89 and SQL-92 terms , Firebird tables are persistent base tables . The standards define several other types, including viewed tables , which Firebird implements as views (see Chapter 24) and derived tables , which Firebird could be said to implement as selectable stored procedures (see Chapters 28 and 30).
