Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new Trusted Service Evaluation (TSE) model based on the service-oriented social network, which can realize user feedback and collect comments safely and efficiently. Each service provider independently maintains a TSE for itself, which collects and stores users’ comments about its services without requiring any third trusted authority. The service comments can then be made available to interested users in making wise service selection decisions. Specifically, this new service evaluation model enables users to collaboratively submit comments by using a new digital signature scheme. It restricts the service providers to reject, modify, or delete the comments. Thus, the integrity and authenticity of comments are improved. Through security analysis and performance evaluation, it is proved that this new trustworthy service evaluation model achieves better performance in terms of current service review system submission rate, and can effectively resist mainstream service comment attacks.
