Abstract

The Clip Type Manipulator, which includes moving unit and clip type manipulator unit, is designed for the Fast Medicine Dispensing System. The modularization design technique is in favour of coordinated control among units and system maintenance. The operating principle of the manipulator is similar to the working principle of pistol. Medicine box acting as a bullet is launched from the manipulator to the medicine storage. Based on the data analysis of spot test, two necessary factors, the repetitive accuracy of machine hand is less than 0.1 mm and refilling efficiency of machine hand is more than 1600 piece/hour are required to meet the demand of complementary medicines in a Fast Medicine Dispensing System.
