Abstract

Many traditional units in the industry exploit traditional raw materials to produce modern innovative products. The chain production is as if unwinding a string of thread from the past into present and future. This paper examines the terms of innovation and cultural innovations brought by such production units that rely on tradition in order to create innovative products. The results of a pilot-research survey are presented methodologically, with regards to the importance of the implementation of innovation for the above mentioned units, their staff and the positive impact that bring to local societies, economy and sustainable development.
