Abstract

A new species of Spalangia, S. bouceki, is identified and reported in this paper. This is the third species of Spalangia known to have a ridge-like margin at the anterior border of the pronotal collar. The two other species are the cosmopolitan S. nigroaenea Curtis, and S. chontalensis Cameron from South America.
