Abstract

The refieetance magnetic circular diehroism (RMCD) spectra of the R2 CuO4 crystals (R=Pr, Nd, Sin, Eu and Gd) were studied in the visible fight (1.5-4.5 eV) at the temperatures from 10 to 260 K in the magnetic field up to 65 kOe. The nature of observed der allowed transitions in R3+ ions is supposed to be 4fn- 4fn-1a 5d one.
